Well, it snowed a lot in Oshkosh this past weekend… so we had to go out and shovel our unfairly long (corner lot*) sidewalk. It was freezing, but we managed to make it a good time!
Here are a few pictures that we took while decorating our house today! 😀
I’m telling you guys… I think we should brand ourselves. If we all had teach me how to bucky t-shirts we could wear them out every weekend and be knows as the bucky people hehehehehehehe.
Hello fellow bloggers! My roomies and I recently decided to join the blogosphere! You should definitely subscribe to our blog to hear our random-ass stories of weekend parties, late-night adventures and bumming around the UW Oshkosh campus.
Here is a little info about us roommates:
Amber is one of the most complex people know! She is one of those people that you meet and think that you have all figured out, but really you have no idea! Her sweet and innocent exterior is dominated by an extremely rich inner-world that she only shares with a few people (and to you people out in the blogosphere, of course!). If you are lucky, you will get to know her real personality some day! Amber is currently going through what I call an “academic plan crisis”. She was an HR major in the college of business, but realized that it really isn’t for her. I think that she is way too creative for such a standard field. One night we had a really long discussion about her crisis and she came to the conclusion that she wants to be a marketing major with a minor in journalism. This way, she can be more creative in a business setting! I think it’s a good idea. Outside of school, Amber loves to write and hang out, usually, in her room. 🙂 She’s a very unique individual, though, and you should definitely look forward to reading her posts!
Alyssa is one of the most random people that I have ever met! She is the type of girl that won’t take shit from anyone, but will accept anyone just the way they are. She is always extremely hyper and is usually yelling and running about the house. She definitely keeps the spirits up in our house! Alyssa is a Biology major and spends a lot of time in labs (from what I understand hehehe). All of her textbooks look like they are written in an alien language and her homework makes no sense to me. She seems to like it, though, which is a good thing since it is her major! Hm… yup.
Julia is one of those people that has a funny side comment for just about everything. When people say stupid things she is all over it, which makes me laugh! She is a double major in education and special education and spends a lot of time life-guarding at the YMCA. Julia and I were roommates last year in Scott Hall where we had some interesting adventures. (one time our neighbor threw up allllllll over our futon. yuck!) Needless to say, I have been through quite a bit with her! When she isn’t at work or school, she is usually chilling around the house or getting ice cream treats with her bf Matt or us roomies 🙂
I (Jessi) am Journalism major with a Public Relations emphasis and am minoring in Spanish (even though I can’t stand it!). I’m thinking I will change my minor to Creative Writing, but who knows… it’s a constant battle. In my free time I love to downhill ski, read, write and hang out with my friends! I like to become involved with anything that will allow me to be a leader. Currently, I am the treasurer of the Public Relations Student Society of America and I got to travel to the national conference in Washington D.C.! I think that people see me as a funny and chill person. I usually like to go with the flow and enjoy all parts of life! I am loving college, and can’t wait to start blogging about my experiences! 😀
